Yes! We accept new patients. Please visit our Patient Forms page and complete the new patient forms and records request for your previous provider and bring with you. Forms are also available at the office. Please call the office to schedule an appointment. 


We are open six days per week including all holidays except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. 


Regular Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 7am-6pm
  • Friday 7am-5pm
  • Saturday 7am-noon


Yes, PLEASE CALL 208-267-8710 and listen to the recording for the On-Call Provider's number.


  • If you need a refill of a medication that was prescribed by a provider in our office, please contact your pharmacy. Please allow 48-72 hours for the prescription to be refilled. 
  • You can start the refill process when you have a week left of your prescription. 
  • If there are no refills left on the prescription you may be required to be seen before the provider will authorize a refill. 


Yes! We accept walk-ins for urgent/immediate care issues and situations you feel are an urgent concern. These things are evaluated on a case by case basis. Medication refills with occasional chronic care will require a regular appointment not an urgent/immediate appointment. Please call the office before coming in to make sure we have time and a provider available.

  • Please show up to your appointment 10 minutes early to check in. Bring with you your insurance card(s), a form of ID and a list of your current medications.

  • If you have an electronic copy of your insurance card please send an email to riverstonebilling@gmail.com prior to your appointment. Please include the following:
    • Subject: BFFM Patient (name)
    • Body of email:
      • Patient of BFFM
      • Names & Date of Birth for ALL PATIENTS covered under this policy
      • Attach front & back of Insurance card(s)
      • Attach a copy of ID (drivers license) of primary policy holder and any adult patients. 
      • Effective date of coverage (if known)


  • Even if nothing has changed it is crucial to keep your medical records, personal information and insurance information up to date.  Providing us with  complete and accurate information will ensure that we can contact you with tests results or specialists information in an efficient manner and facilitates billing you or your insurance in a prompt and timely manner. 
  •  Filling out the patient paperwork in its entirety is vital in preventing errors, and will decrease the risk of a medical visit or procedure being denied for payment, in turn, possibly making it your responsibility for payment. 
  • This paperwork also includes a section that gives us "Consent to Treat" along with privacy information giving us permission to share your information including insurance to pharmacies, laboratories, and specialists. Without this we will be unable to treat you as a patient at Bonners Ferry Family Medicine.  
  • If you are due to update your paperwork (e.g. you have moved, changed contact numbers or your emergency contact person has changed or has new info) please go to the top of the page and click on the "Patient Forms". You can drop off the completed paperwork any time to the office. 


Every year or when you get a new plan please provide the following: 

  • If you have an electronic copy or photo of both sides of your insurance card(s) please send an email to riverstonebilling@gmail.com prior to your appointment.  Please include the following:
    • Subject: BFFM Patient (name)
    • Body of email:
      • Patient of BFFM
      • Names & Date of Birth for ALL PATIENTS covered under this policy
      • Attach front & back of Insurance card(s)
      • Attach a copy of ID (drivers license) of primary policy holder and any adult patients. 
      • Effective date of coverage (if known)
  • If you have a secondary or additional insurance policy please include that with the email and indicate which is primary and secondary. 
  • For any Insurance specific questions please call Riverstone Billing at 208-267-2070 or email them at riverstonebilling@gmail.com 


  • We accept most insurance companies but not Kaiser or Humana. You may call our Billing Department 208-267-2070 to verify the plan you have is accepted.
  • If you have an electronic copy or photo of your insurance card please send an email to riverstonebilling@gmail.com prior to your appointment.  Please include the following:

  • For those with Medicaid: We only accept Idaho and Montana Medicaid. If you have another state program we have a generous self-pay discount for your visit.
  • If your insurance plan requires selecting a Primary Care Physician (PCP) please contact your insurance company to change it to Bonners Ferry Family Medicine PRIOR to your visit. 
  • If the services provided are not covered by your insurance plan, you are responsible for any remaining balance.

If you feel that you need to see a specialist and you would like your primary care provider to refer you, please contact our office to schedule an appointment to discuss that with them.


If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the office at least 24 hours in advance.


If you have paperwork of any kind that you need filled out, your provider will need to have a visit with you to complete and sign. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.


  • Payment is due at the time of visit / appointment. If you have insurance we will need to collect the co-payment or the full amount depending on your deductible. Payment plans are available to be discussed prior to your appointment. 
  • For self pay patients: Dr. Geyman offers a discount if paid in full the same day for seeing any provider.
